Testimonials

{English} Having lessons with Heidi not only improves your technique and phrasing, but also teaches you how to approach music and connect with the harp on a whole different level. From finding your musical voice, expressing yourself through colours, learning how to play in ensemble and orchestra, if you are an advanced student and are working toward auditions, competitions, recitals or would like to improve your playing, these will be very valuable lessons.

Heidi Krutzen is an extraordinary, inspiring harpist and teacher. I studied with Heidi shortly after completing a music degree in piano some years ago. At the time, the harp was a new instrument for me. I can say with absolute certainty that my life as a harpist was made possible because of her teaching. Not only did she give me the solid technical foundation and musical insight necessary to play the instrument, but she also helped me find my confidence in myself as a musician. As a result, I have gone on to work actively as a harpist, playing orchestra, opera, and musical theatre. I cannot recommend Heidi highly enough.
